I have a question about getting back to posts from a longer time ago. If I open the forum page (on the GD forum) I see posts from this day, if I go to "see more posts" it goes back maybe 3 days.
I will be out of town for a couple of weeks and won't be having internet access much of this time, so when coming back I might want to catch up on what has been discussed. So does anybody know if there is a way to see the posts of the last weeks?

Thanks, ganges

Yes, as you were saying, the main forum page on the GD collection page has the posts from very recent discussions:

http://www.archive.org/details/GratefulDead#forum

and the 'View More Forum Posts' at the bottom of that page has posts from a little farther back:

http://www.archive.org/iathreads/forum-display.php?forum=GratefulDead

but if you'd like to see the entire forum (Just like with any forum) just go here:

http://www.archive.org/iathreads/forums-searchresults.php?searchForum=yes&search=GratefulDead

where the "search=_______" portion is the name of the forum you want to see the entire history of. On the front page of the LMA, there is a link that does this for "search=etree" which brings up all the etree forum posts from the beggining of that forum (fall 2002!)

so yeah, the above link should show all GD posts, so take your vacation away from the computer and no worries on catching up on all the GD discussion when you get back! :)
